Convenient delivery sizes
Farm products are available in either bulk or mini-bulk quantities. When ordering in bulk, orders can be taken for quantities between 5 and 25 tonnes and product will be delivered to the farm using dedicated vehicles. Mini-bulk orders can be taken for quantities from 1000 litres and up to 5000 litres, and these are delivered on-farm using specialist vehicles.
Standard products
Using modern blending technology, SvG Intermol is able to combine molasses with other liquid feeds to increase flowability and protein levels. The result is a choice of feeds offering the ideal combination of energy, protein flowability and price for any situation. An at-a-glance guide to these products is shown below.

In recent years SvG Intermol has pioneered several major breakthroughs in liquid feed technology and this has led to the introduction of a wide variety of high performance feeds specially designed to meet farm needs. These feeds fall into three main categories – Regulated Release, Suspension technology (STP) and Biopro feeds.
Bulk protein products - Regulated Release range of feeds
Regulated Release is a patented liquid feed technology which reduces the cost and improves the effectiveness of protein supplementation.
Whatever the protein source, ruminants treat rumen degradable protein (ERDP) simply as a source of nitrogen, breaking it down to release ammonia. Regulated Release uses urea as a highly effective ammonia source in a process which has been designed to mimic natural protein breakdown. As well as being safe and extremely cost-effective, the feeds have also been shown to give significantly better performance than many conventional protein feeds. Among the reasons for this are the fact that ruminants need a supply of readily available energy alongside the protein and, because they are molasses-based, Regulated Release feeds meet this need perfectly. Similarly, the feeds meet specific needs for sulphur and phosphorous.
Regulated Release technology is available in a variety of dairy, beef and sheep feeds. For instance, Regumix, Regumaize 44 and Regumaize 65 form the basis of the product range.

Specialist liquid feeds – The Biopro range
Designed for beef, sheep and dairy youngstock, Biopro liquid feeds provide a choice of protein and energy levels and a comprehensive vitamin and mineral package. Compared to alternatives, they give better intakes and returns, and are more versatile and cost-effective. Natural 10 contains 10% crude protein as fed, with protein levels increasing through the range: Prime 20 contains 20% crude protein as fed, while at the top end of the range Prime 44 contains 44%.
The feeds are purpose designed and have a higher dry matter content than traditional liquid feeds. New technology has also been brought to bear, with several using Regulated Release technology to provide high levels of rumen degradable protein (ERDP) for example. Similarly, protected copper is provided in Prime 32 and Prime 44 thanks to Alltech's Bioplex, enabling these feeds to support high levels of cattle performance.
In spring and late summer, livestock farmers can take advantage of Biomag 3.5, another high energy feed in the Biopro range which has been formulated to include 3.5% magnesium chloride to help prevent grass staggers.
Unique to the market, Complete Sheep offers the complete nutrient package for forage based ewe diets, providing an excellent source of protein (both rumen degradable and undegradable ie by-pass protein) as well as sugars, vitamins and minerals.
Providing a dairy cow with appropriate nutrition and management in the last 3 to 4 weeks of pregnancy, the 'transition period', is crucial if it is to start lactation in a sound metabolic state, able to maintain a good fertility status and body condition score and reach its full performance potential.
One simple way to achieve these aims is for milk producers to control forage intakes, provide free access to good, clean straw and feed a bespoke molasses-based liquid feed. Transition Cow contains all the nutrients needed to ensure all the cow's metabolic needs are met. Milk output in lactation can be increased and there's less risk of metabolic disorders such as milk fever and ketosis. Long term, Transition Cow can help improve fertility rates and improve herd profitability. For situations where the cow's nutrient demands are partly met by
supplementary feeding or where milk yields are lower, producers should opt for Transition Cow Syrup.
Milk producers usually order 1000 litres of Transition Cow per delivery. The product can either be pumped into the farmers own tank or, for a small additional cost, can be delivered in a 1000 IBC 'cubi-tainer', which are easy to store and handle. Transition Cow can be poured over the forage or, more commonly, fed through free-access wheel lick feeders, please see the attached leaflet. The free-access approach reduces competition between cows and results in more uniform performance as all the animals get the nutrients they need.

Dust suppressants
Molasses is well recognised for its ability to bind in the smaller feed particles when mixing rations. The product development team at Intermol have taken the issue of dustiness in home mixed rations and researched what exactly farmers want in a dust suppressant. This has led to the development of DB 50, specifically designed to reduce dust and with physical and chemical characteristics that offer a wide range of extra benefits to home mixers and their livestock.
These include increased dry matter intakes as animals find a less dusty feed more appealing, and ultimately this translates into better performance. There are health benefits too, as mixer operators and stock men will be exposed to less dust and have a reduced risk of developing asthma or farmers' lung, if a dust suppressant is used in feeds mixed on-farm.
